France: Hundreds of CRS lay down helmets and batons to protest pension reform

A hundred CRS led a symbolic action this Monday morning in front of their quarter of Pondorly, in Chevilly-Larue (Val-de-Marne). They dropped their helmets and batons to protest the government-sponsored pension reform. The gesture is symbolic but strong. Several dozen CRS in uniform decided to put their helmets and truncheons at about 11 o’clock this Thursday morning in front of their quarter of Pondorly, which is the largest in Île-de-France. Officials responded to a call from unions Alliance National Police and UNSA Police. Source Actu17
