Citing the “rapid spread of Covid-19 across the world,” China has decided to temporarily suspend all entry by foreign nationals holding valid visas or residence permits, the foreign ministry in Beijing has announced. “The suspension is a temporary measure that China is compelled to take in light of the outbreak situation and the practices of other countries,” the ministry said in a statement on Thursday evening. OPEC+ headed for a clash with the U.S. as more members rejected President Joe Biden’s call for the group to raise oil production faster and help reduce gasoline prices.
