Mnuchin: First coronavirus rebates to be issued ‘within two weeks’

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said Thursday that the first coronavirus relief payments to Americans will be sent “within two weeks.”

“I previously said this would take us three weeks,” Mnuchin said at a White House press briefing. “I’m pleased to report that within two weeks, the first payments will be direct deposit[ed] into taxpayers’ accounts.” Source Thr Hill
