Indian threat to restrict Pakistani water supply indicates pursuit of broader measures against Pakistan, including FATF blacklisting

India’s water resources minister, Nitin Gadkari, said on 21 February that the Indian government would restrict flows of excess river water to Pakistan as per the 1960 Indus Waters Treaty. The move is the latest punitive measure by the Indian government, which has accused Pakistan of involvement in the 14 February suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device attack by Kashmiri separatists in Pulwama that killed 40 Indian soldiers.  Source Janes 360
