A man entered the Mamoudzou police station in Mayotte. He attacked a policeman with a pickaxe, injuring him, before being overpowered. He then violently assaulted a policeman with a pickaxe, yelling “Allah Akbar” on several occasions. The latter tried to neutralize him with his electric pulse pistol, to no avail. The attacker returned to the charge. A second policeman then intervened and overpowered this man. He was arrested and taken into custody. Source Actu17
OPEC+ headed for a clash with the U.S. as more members rejected President Joe Biden’s call for the group to raise oil production faster and help reduce gasoline prices. On Monday, Kuwait said the cartel should stick with its plan to increase output gradually because oil markets were well-balanced.
