Three Kenyan runners acquire Romanian citizenship. The chances are they may represent the country during the Tokyo Olympic Games. The three women have been granted citizenship because “Romanians just as Germans or Swedes or the French make up an open nation.” What is an open nation? An open nation is a civic union of people unrelated by blood, culture, language, religion, anything. You may become French or Romanian, American or Swedish by a legal deed, just as you may become a member of a club, a party, an organization. Even easier. After all you need to somehow fit the profile of the club or identify with the principles of a Party whose member you want to become. With nations – assuming that the word nation is the right term here – it is far easier.
Yes, these Africans are from now on Europeans.
Jodie Turner-Smith, a black actress of Jamaican descent, is the latest impersonation of Anne Boleyn. Never mind that up till very recently there were no black people on the British Isles; never mind that Anne Boleyn is a recognizable figure from the English past evoking no doubts about her race, her skin colour, her ethnicity. Admittedly, there was a time when white actors impersonated black protagonists. The difference is that their appearance would have been changed to resemble negroid features as close as possible. The very obvious thing that was done was to change the actor’s skin colour. The producers of “Anne Boleyn” could not be bothered to do anything like it. The king’s consort is as black as they make them.

Lori Lightfoot, the black mayor of Chicago, has recently made herself notorious by refusing to give interviews to white journalists. Not that it raised hue and cry, at least not the kind of hue and cry that a similar statement on the part of a white person would have raised. Lori Lightfoot, who is black, is “married” to Amy Eshleman, who is white, and they have adopted a daughter of colour. Just as we can have an idea of an open nation, why not have an idea of an open sex, open family, open aything?
Note that the three Kenyan – now Romanian – sportswomen or Jodie Turner-Smith as a white queen are by no means the only instances of what is happening. Africans representing European nations at sports events and black actors impersonating historic or legendary white characters are increasingly the new normal.

Are these and similar phenomena spontaneous? Coincidences? To answer that question we really ought to let President of the United States – the mightiest man in the world, as it is often said – speak. Here’s what he had to say, even before he became President:
“Not only our Moslem communities, but African communities, Asian communities, Hispanic communities and the wave still continues. It’s not gonna stop. Nor should we want it to stop. As a matter of fact it’s one of the things I think we can be most proud of. […] An unrelenting stream of immigration. Nonstop. Nonstop. Folks like me who are Caucasian of European descent for the first time in 2017 will be an absolute minority in the United States of America. Absolute minority. Fewer than fifty percent of the people of America from then and on will be white European stock. It’s not a bad thing. That’s a source of our strength.”
Classic psychologists – like Aristotle (On the Soul) or Plutarch (Moralia), not the modern knockoffs spawn by Sigmund Freud – if they could be brought back to life, might pose a few questions and deal with a few phenomena.
First: the violation of the psyche of the white man. The movers and shakers of the world intentionally defile the white man’s sense of belonging, the white man’s bond to his kith and kin, the white man’s perception of the world and history, the white man’s Christian morality, the white man’s sense of good and evil, of right and wrong.
Second: the blithely insouciant, devil-may-care attitude of Africans who show no compunction about being used as a battering ram against whites. Obviously, it does not occur to them that one of these days they may have to pay a price for such impertinence.
Third: damnatio memoriae, or the attempt to control the past (because, as we know, he who controls the past, controls the future). Evidently, the powers that be wish to substitute a past of their own for the past that the white nations have been imbibed with up to now. Whites will more readily accept Africans as their brethren if they can be made to believe that Africans have always been part of white societies in one way or another.
Fourth: what kind of mind does it take to feel joy at the anticipation of becoming a minority in one’s own country, knowing full well what it will most likely mean for the members of the minority. The statement given by the current mayor of Chicago – not the only one of that kind on the part of nonwhites – dispels all doubt.
