Italy giving 600,000 migrants right to stay after they provided essential work during lockdown

Italy will give 600,000 illegal migrants the right to stay in the country as they have been providing essential work during the coronavirus crisis. Unregistered migrants have been picking crops and caring for the elderly across the country, all while risking being arrested if caught by the police. The Government is providing six-month permits to the migrants which won’t give them the right to vote but will be renewable. Source New York Post

Hungary to Set up Plant to Produce Vaccines

Hungary plans to set up a vaccine plant in order to become independent from outside sources, Chief Medical Officer Cecília Müller announced at the Operative Board’s press conference on Friday. On Friday, the National Public Health Center (NNK) signed an agreement with the Minister of Human Capacities (EMMI) Miklós Kásler, and Zoltán Szilvássy, the dean of the University of Debrecen, to set up the plant. Müller revealed that the vaccine plant would produce compulsory vaccines, among others. Source Hungary Today

Greek General Konstantinos Floros held two teleconferences with NATO officials in which he made it clear that Turkey’s provocations in the Aegean and at Evros on the Greek-Turkish land border, will lead with mathematical precision to an accident with unforeseen consequences.
