Khalifa Haftar’s forces renewed attacks on Tripoli’s Mitiga Airport and the areas in its vicinity, leading to the evacuation of passengers and personnel as well as suspending all flights.
The attacks targeted the air traffic control tower and obliged the airport to redirect all flights to Misrata Airport, damaging some of the airport’s facilities and the runway. Source The Libya Observer
