A shooting broke out near the city of Bassens in the northern districts of Marseille, this Tuesday morning shortly before 11 a.m. A nearby police-rescue crew headed to the scene.
The police were then targeted by shots fired by several hooded individuals who were on board a Peugeot 5008 according to La Provence .
