Covid-19: France calls public to help French farmers

The French government is calling on people who are “not working at this time” to “go into the fields” and help farmers and producers during the Covid-19 crisis. He asked all able French people who are no longer working due to the coronavirus shutdown to “join the huge army of French agriculture”. Spanish soldiers find elderly patients ‘abandoned’ in retirement homes

Nearly eleven percent of the workforce in Norway is now registered as unemployed, the highest number since the Second World War, the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration reported in a press release on Tuesday. Sigrun Vågeng, the agency’s director of work and welfare, described the shift from 65,000 registered unemployed on March 10 to 291,000 unemployed on Tuesday as “unparalleled in history”.
