Financial Difficulties Behind AtlasGlobal Flight Suspension

Turkish airline AtlasGlobal has suspended all its flight services effective today. In a statement released this evening, the airline has confirmed no more flights will operate until the 21st December, 2019. Ticket sales have also been suspended until the 16th December. It appears the airline is in difficulties financially, and is attempting to undertake an emergency restructuring in order to ensure its survival. Source Simple Flying

UPDATE: Huge disruption in Berlin as thousands of farmers in tractors shut down streets

Thousands of farmers descended on Berlin in their tractors on Tuesday in a massive protest against government plans. The rally, being held in protest to government plans which farmers say are threatening their livelihoods, is having a major impact on traffic in the capital. Several roads and the Autobahn have been hit by huge traffic jams due to the overload of tractors. Source The Local 

Turkey to fly F-16s near Ankara to test S-400 radar systems, report says

Turkey will test the S-400 missile defense systems it purchased from Russia in Ankara, a report said Monday. The Turkish military will fly its fighter jets near the Mürted Air Base on Monday and Tuesday to test the S-400’s radar systems, Milliyet daily said. The Ankara Governorate announced late Sunday that the test flights will be conducted near the capital in the next two days. Source Daily Sabah
