EU court considers jail time for German politicians over dirty air

A top EU court is to hear a case brought against the Bavarian government for failing to implement clean air court rulings. Green groups say the state premier should be threatened with jail for risking people’s health. The European Court of Justice (ECJ) is to hear a case on Tuesday on whether Bavarian State Premier Markus Söder and other members of his government should be jailed for failing to implement clean air rulings to bring down levels of the nitric oxide, caused by diesel fumes, in Munich. (Bosnia) Milorad Dodik: I would refuse BiH Membership in the EU because of Russia

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH’s) Presidency Member Milorad Dodik said Russian President Vladimir Putin has a good understanding of the situation in BiH, even in detail, to which he is grateful, adding that he expects that the next meeting with Putin will be soon. Dodik told the Russian reporter that it was far from realistic for BiH to impose sanctions on Russia, and that he would refuse EU membership if it were a condition for joining the Union.
