Germany: Personal shortage threatens public service

The President of the Federal Office of Administration, Verenkotte, soon fears a staff shortage in the public service in Germany. Because of numerous retirements in the generation of so-called babyboomers, it is foreseeable that the public administration will shrink. Not all vacancies would be filled.
