602,000 Nigerians migrated to Europe in 2016, says UN ex-envoy

Defence Minister exaggerated army sexual abuse for personal gain, say critics

Defence Minister Ursula von der Leyen informed the country of “repulsive” sexual exploitation at an army barracks in February. But an investigation by prosecutors found she spoke to soon.
